mostly in the genres of klezmer, world music and cabaret. As a klezmer musician, she has performed with many of the most established Swedish klezmer bands and Yiddish singers. Her background is classic piano. Miriam has worked a lot as musician in theatre and circus productions at among others Teater Halland, Scenkonst Sörmland, Stockholm Municipal Theatre, The Swedish Radio Theatre and Cirque du Soleil. She has also worked as musician and storyteller in storytelling performances. Besides her permanent ensembles Stahlhammer Klezmer, Lindy & Bon Bon Band, Parizad, Glädjeflickorna and Trio MozkovitZ, she has worked with various artists such as Mats Rehnman, Maya de Vesque/Chesty Morgan, Kjell Fagéus and Charlotte Engelkes. Miriam is educated at Malmö College of Music and Stockholm Music pedagogue Institute (SMI). She was the leader of Stockholm Yiddish Choir 1996-2009 and chair of the Swedish Klezmer Association 2006-2009.
